Security 2026-05-24

Tighter staff role controls

Employee role defaults now better match day-to-day sales workflows while keeping customer data scoped.

  • Employee users can view their own customers, leads, and contacts without broad customer-list access.
  • Employees can add new products for review while existing product records stay protected from edits.
  • Messaging templates, territory map views, and trip itinerary tools now follow the user's account scope.
Assistant 2026-05-24

Safer Assistant draft actions

RepCloud Assistant now handles more write requests as reviewable drafts before creating records.

  • Draft purchase orders from pasted SKU and quantity lists now show a confirmation preview before anything is created.
  • Reusable CRM email template requests now preview the proposed template before saving.
  • Assistant draft actions keep the review step visible so staff can confirm or cancel before records are written.
Purchase Orders 2026-05-24

More practical master-pack warnings

Master-pack rules now warn earlier without blocking staff from building or editing drafts.

  • Portal product pages can add required master-pack items even when the quantity is below the minimum or not on the required multiple, while showing a warning.
  • Carts show row-level and order-level warnings and keep checkout blocked until required master-pack quantities are valid.
  • Manual purchase orders can add and edit invalid required master-pack quantities for review, then block final save or submit until corrected.
  • Deleting a manual PO line no longer triggers the browser pattern-validation popup.
Vendors 2026-05-24

Cleaner vendor routing setup

Vendor route setup is easier to configure without typing exact category names.

  • Category and subcategory vendor routes now use workspace dropdowns instead of free-typed values.
  • Existing brand, alias, SKU prefix, and product routes remain available for flexible routing.
  • Vendor routing still supports auto-send decisions when a route is the only matched vendor.
Operations 2026-05-24

Cleaner sample asset wording

Sample order tracking now uses clearer customer-facing language and cleaner asset notes.

  • Sample asset status wording changed from En Route to On Order.
  • New sample asset notes avoid awkward source text and clarify the purchase order relationship.
  • Existing sample asset statuses and notes can be migrated to the cleaner wording.
Messaging 2026-05-24

Cleaner CRM email compose flow

Composing an account email is easier to scan and less dependent on browser-default controls.

  • The compose screen now uses selectable recipient cards instead of a raw multi-select box.
  • Staff can search account contacts, select multiple recipients, clear selections, or add extra email addresses manually.
  • CRM-tracked emails explain how mailbox Sent-folder saving works and avoid duplicate CRM log rows when synced copies are found later.
Messaging 2026-05-24

Account email history with staff mail

Customer and vendor records can now show more of the real email timeline in one place.

  • Account email logs can include CRM-sent messages, campaign messages, and configured staff Sent-folder emails.
  • Admins can sync staff mailbox history into account timelines while normal staff visibility stays scoped to their own messages plus campaign sends.
  • Email logs now support search, 20-row pagination, clearer sender/source columns, and separate labels for sent, opened, clicked, and failed messages.
  • Opening an email from an account now returns back to that account's Email Log instead of dropping staff into the global email log.
Vendors 2026-05-23

Vendor routing and portal reporting

Vendor accounts now have clearer routing, contacts, order visibility, and brand performance reporting.

  • Added vendor routing rules for brands, categories, subcategories, SKU prefixes, and individual products.
  • Vendor purchase order views can show all dealer orders associated with the vendor's routed brands and categories.
  • Vendor portal insights now focus on routed brand performance with monthly trends, top products, top dealers, and brand-line breakdowns.
  • Vendor contacts can be marked with default email roles for purchase orders, estimates, invoices, and RMA/support requests.
  • Support tickets and RMA requests can now be assigned to a vendor and a specific vendor contact.
  • Vendor portal support now shows vendor-assigned RMA/support items, and staff can manually send a vendor support request from the ticket.
  • PDF order intake now detects vendor routing and flags only true review exceptions like unknown vendor, mixed vendor order, missing SKU, master-pack issues, and price mismatches.
Purchase Orders 2026-05-22

Master pack quantity checks

Products can now store carton/master-pack rules, and ordering workflows can warn when a quantity does not meet the required multiple.

  • Added product fields for master pack quantity and whether that multiple is required.
  • Product imports can map carton or master-pack quantities from price lists.
  • PDF intake review rows and discrepancy emails now show a clear reason when a quantity must be rounded up to the required pack multiple.
  • Staff purchase order forms and portal cart/order flows now block required carton-multiple mistakes before the order is saved.
Operations 2026-05-21

Own-account sample order tracking

Workspaces can now identify their own company account and link internal sample purchase orders into asset loan tracking.

  • Mark one customer record as the workspace's own account for internal workflows.
  • Create a sample asset record from an internal purchase order and keep it linked back to the source PO.
  • Track ordered samples in Loan Forms with staff assignment, copied line items, and a direct PO link.
CRM 2026-05-21

More flexible customer classification

Customer classification now supports multiple selected values and clearer vendor/customer relationship handling.

  • Select multiple classifications on a customer record without replacing previous values.
  • Keep vendor classification available for manufacturer and supplier records.
  • Use classification data consistently across customer profiles and operational workflows.
Catalog 2026-05-19

Saved dealer carts

Staff can prepare visual product carts for dealers, send a shareable link, and manage saved recommendations from the cart page.

  • Build a cart from the catalog, assign it to a dealer, and send selected recipients a branded cart link.
  • Load a saved cart back into the staff cart to edit quantities, add products, and resend the same link.
  • Delete saved carts when they are no longer needed so the shared link stops working.
Sales 2026-05-18

Territory Map and trip planning

Sales teams can now view customers and leads geographically, filter the map, and plan field visits around real account clusters.

  • See customers and leads on a map with useful CRM context.
  • Filter by territory, customer status, lead status, groups, reps, and related fields.
  • Build trip plans from mapped stops instead of juggling separate notes and spreadsheets.
Assistant 2026-05-18

Smarter Assistant lookups

RepCloud Assistant is better at understanding customer, product, and pricing questions even when the wording is not exact.

  • Better matching for short customer names, partial names, and common abbreviations.
  • Better product matching for exact model questions and close product-name matches.
  • Asks for clarification when a request could refer to several product variants.
Assistant 2026-05-18

  • Made it easier to add and refine vendor-specific PDF handling over time.
CRM 2026-05-18

More consistent CRM tables

  • Aligned common table controls, filter behavior, and pagination styling across CRM list pages.
  • Kept full-page table footers wide while allowing compact footers in true split-view workspaces.
  • Reduced visual differences between customer, contact, task, activity, intake, and related list pages.
Setup 2026-05-18

Expanded backup controls

Workspace setup now includes scheduled application-file backups alongside database backups for safer maintenance.

  • Schedule backups for live app files, templates, static assets, scripts, and configuration-side files.
  • Run app-file backups manually when you want a checkpoint before larger changes.
  • Keep retention settings visible from Setup.
Purchase Orders 2026-05-18

Clearer PDF intake review

PDF intake now shows more detail about how confidently RepCloud understood each uploaded order.

  • Added parser confidence, parser type, and missing-field notes to the PDF review screen.
  • Low-confidence orders stay in the normal review flow instead of silently looking complete.
  • Added workspace-level parser notes in setup so teams can document vendor-specific PDF quirks.
Catalog 2026-05-18

Cleaner customer catalog

The customer-facing catalog has been expanded with better browsing, cleaner product cards, brand-friendly URLs, and smarter filters.

  • Use shorter brand and category catalog links for easier customer sharing.
  • Show more relevant product filters based on the current catalog results.
  • Display cleaner product cards with local product images, pricing context, and quick-view actions.

  • Reduced false pricing warnings caused by tiny rounding differences.
  • Real pricing mismatches still stay visible for review.
Marketing 2026-05-18

Campaign builder upgrades

Campaigns now support richer reusable templates, better recipient targeting, draft creation from the Assistant, and more predictable previews.

  • Build campaigns from editable blocks, saved templates, product cards, buttons, images, video blocks, and branded headers.
  • Target marketing lists, customer groups, saved segments, and deliverable contacts with clearer recipient counts.
  • Keep standard branding and signature blocks consistent across new campaign drafts.

  • Map pricing, category, brand, media, and product details with clearer import expectations.
  • Use staged review flows for safer catalog cleanup and price updates.
Assistant 2026-05-18

Assistant help for PDF intake profiles

RepCloud Assistant can now help selected beta workspaces document and refine PDF intake handling for recurring vendor formats.

  • Use the Assistant to describe how a recurring PDF order format should be interpreted.
  • Capture workspace-specific intake notes without hard-coding every vendor format into the main app.
  • Keep imported orders in review when confidence is low so staff can confirm before creating records.
Operations 2026-05-18

Assets and loan tracking

The assets module has been improved for tracking company-owned gear, assignments, loan status, and exports.

  • Track internal assets separately from sellable product inventory.
  • Filter and export asset lists for all assets or the current filtered view.
  • Use cleaner asset records for staff assignments, customer loans, locations, and value tracking.
